Timi O was brought up on Afro-beats & Anime. This must be why sonic experimentation & world-building are a central focus for the Worcester-born artist, as he continues to develop the story of a vulnerable protagonist, himself. While it might be difficult to classify his music in a single word, Timi O has proclaimed his sound as Freeform Hip-Hop, a concoction of styles both new and old, grounded in his own Rap and R&B influence. His sound continues to push the envelope, helped along by his frequent collaboration with genre-fluid producers such as Meltycanon and l.ucas. Timi O has been regularly teaming up with independent director/filmmakers Jacob Rodier & Sabrina Carpenter to bring Hollywood-level gravity to the world he continues to build.
